What is the benefit of being able to host more than 1 domain?
Believe it or not, many companies, even small businesses, have the need to develop and operate multiple websites that are on different domains. All of our packages allow you to host multiple domains.
What is a subdomain?
Think of a subdomain as a sub account of the primary domain. For example if you visit apple.com and you decide you click on their “Store” tab, you will notice that you are redirected to a subdomain of store.apple.com.
What would I use a subdomain for?
As mentioned in the previous question and answer, you may use a subdomain for a store or other extension of your website. As well, you could use a subdomain to install and run a CRM or Project Management web application for your business. It’s also a good idea to use a subdomain if you need to create a secure area where you collect client data or information.
What if I need more email addresses than a package has?
You have two options in this case. You can either upgrade to a Package that has enough email addresses for you or you could consider whether you can use email forwarders to fulfill the role of the additional email addresses you need.
What are email forwarders?
Email forwarders make it easy and convenient to ensure that multiple people receive a copy of an email. For example, you may wish to list an email address of “sales@yourdomain.com” on your website for prospective customers to use when inquiring about your products. Instead of setting up an actual email address of “sales@yourdomain.com” you can set up an email forwarder and set it so that when someone sends an email to “sales@yourdomain.com” the email will be distributed everyone whom you’ve instructed the email forwarder to send it to.
What is the CPanel Control Interface?
The CPanel Control Interface is the control panel you will use to manage your Website files, set up your email accounts and manage your hosting account.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Hosting Package?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your hosting account at any time if needed. If you choose to downgrade your account, any remaining balance paid toward a larger package will be credited to your new package.
Can I pay for my Hosting Package on an annual basis?
Yes. We accept payments on a monthly basis, annual basis, and you can even pay for 2 years if you wish. We do offer significant discounts if you pay annually or for 2 years.
