We were and continue to be involved in the development of the backend administrative interface for the Child theme of Canvas by WooThemes that the Grace Fellowship Church website is running on. As well, we are involved in an ongoing project which involves development and implementation of the Grace Sermon Library.
Ivy Springs Home Owners Association
There were two goals for the Ivy Springs Home Owners Association website. First, to have a central information repository for their community. Ideally, they wanted this repository to be clean and simple yet, also allow people to easily find the information they need about the community. Second, they really wanted the website to help support a sense of community among neighborhood residents. To address these goals we built a website that includes a dedicated News Section so that residents can quickly keep up with what’s happening. Residents can access this either via the website, RSS subscription, or they can opt-in and receive all News posted on the website via email. We also built a Marketplace section where residents can list their business or company, post items for sale, and advertise Garage Sales.
Our design for this website was awarded the honor of being featured in the WooThemes Showcase. This makes our second work featured there!
Destiny Church Groups
The Destiny Church Groups website was commissioned for the purpose of enabling church members to gain an understanding of the different Small Groups that were available to them. Further, there was the ability to select a Small Group and get signed up right on the site along with the ability to see a map of Small Group locations within a given proximity and get directions from your location to the Small Group meeting location. Ultimately, much of the individual group pages and sites were not completed, but the concept worked well for the Photography Group and for the Skeggs Small Group.
Jason Young Live
Leadership skills, or as Jason Young puts it, “Equipping Influencers”, is what this website is all about. We originally met up with Jason while collaborating on a project for Grace Fellowship Church. Jason was at a point where he really wanted and needed to revamp his web presence. This was a fun project. It’s great to work for someone who is making a difference in the lives of so many people.
Shane’s Rib Shack – Franklin, TN
This Shane’s Rib Shack project was particularly challenging in respect to maintaining the corporate color scheme while trying to overcome the presence of harsh bright colors. Requirements included the ability to view and filter the menu by category and ensure that contact and location information were constantly in view of the visitor. Social Media Integration is present as well. In the end a very usable and visually pleasing solution was implemented.
Grilling Bobby Hicks
The Grilling Bobby Hicks project was particularly enjoyable for everyone involved. The idea of taking a feature film and breaking it down into short “webisodes” is really what this site is all about. Rather than the approach of simple CSS edits for this site, we used customized graphics from the original feature film and adapted them to the Over Easy theme from WooThemes.
This site is also now featured in the WooThemes Showcase.
The Mathmagical project: Music, meets mathematics, meets the web. Showcased here is Phase 1 of this project. The goal for this site was to highlight the sole product that his company creates, Multiplying Time! Incorporating the use of video as product samples rather than the standard audio file snippets helps set the company apart and helps establish better brand recognition. As well, direct integration with iTunes and Amazon make product purchase easy and quick.
BenchMark Public Adjusting Group
The BenchMark project required taking the quality elements that existed in an older Static HTML company website and incorporating them into a new Dynamic website. The client really wanted and needed better SEO, more scalability, and the ability to add additional content on their own in the future.
Haw River Catering
Catering Nashville and Middle Tennessee is the primary focus of our client Haw River Catering. This project was all about conveying the benefits of elegant and enticing food for high-end events such as Weddings, Corporate Events, and Private Parties. This was a full Web Presence Development project and we also provided a Pro Logo Design package and a Pro Email Marketing Design package. We were able to deliver the client a Website that will truly act as their publishing and web marketing hub.
The LeBlanc Agency
The LeBlanc Agency project was one that gave us quite a challenge from a delivery timeframe perspective. The client was a soon to be former State Farm agent and she let us know immediately that within a few days, her existing website which was being hosted, populated, and maintained by State Farm, would soon vanish. She knew she needed a new Website ASAP along with email. We jumped the hurdles of dealing with Big Business and Domain Transfers on this project. In short, we were able to have the client’s website live in less than three hours after the domain was in our control.
This is a Blog style personal website that we put together for Jarrod’s Pastor, Tad Savoy. Last July Tad approached us about helping him create a personal website he could use to discuss many different life topics, not just church topics. Tad wanted the ability to blog about the books he reads, the music he listens to, and about how to live a life that is pleasing to God. We helped him integrate Amazon Associates code that directs visitors to the books and music that he recommends and even gives them an opportunity to purchase them immediately.
The Skincancer.com project is one of several projects that is being developed and designed in phases. At present, the initial phase has been launched. This project presented us with several opportunities for creating customized code that automates content creation and enhances usability of the site tremendously. We will have the case study posted shortly.
